Turkey Attracts More Foreign Investment
More than £5.5 billion has been spent on property in Turkey by foreign investors since 2003 Love Turkish Property can reveal.
Some parts of the European country have become so popular with buyers from overseas that utility bills are being issued in languages such as English.
Antalya was highlighted as one major hotspot of activity,aong with twon's such as Bodrum and Altinkum as almost a quarter of all homes in these areas are owned by foreign nationals.
Commenting on this trend, real estate consultant Orhun Ozdener Vahaboglu said: "British, German and Russian tourists are flooding into Turkey in ever-increasing numbers."
He described Turkey as a country which is continuing to grow, which means it offers a "lot of potential" to foreign buyers and holidaymakers that also benefit from the improvement of the areas infrasturcture.
